I was going to post a variety of stories today, as I’ve been buried with personal stuff and haven’t posted for a while, but instead, I’m making the annual Canadian Seal Slaughter the priority.
I do not push you to support any group in particular, but here are some that you can support to help out. I’ve also attached a petition. But, mostly, just don’t buy Canadian products until this unnecessary act of violence is stopped.

I’m going to let this one run today instead of posting others as well. Why? Can’t you see why? This is huge and very devastating news.
You know how many people will never read this story and will keep buying from these companies thinking they’re cruelty free? Quite a few. I hear from people all the time that these horrible companies ended animal testing. Well, yes, they did a while back, BUT, they have re started. So, please spread this horrible news and go back to boycotting Avon, Mary Kay, and Estée Lauder.
So why are they going back to cruel vivisection that is unnecessary? Well, the obvious – China, the cruelest country on Earth. They “…have been quietly paying for poisoning tests on animals at the behest of the Chinese government in order to market their products in China.”
And, as you know, China loves to torture animals. So, they don’t care. But what’s to note here is that Avon, Mary Kay, and Estée Lauder never really cared about animal welfare when they stopped before. It’s all about the market and selling the most products. So, obviously then, they want the cruel Chinese to use their products as there are so many of them. So, they’ve decided to screw any concerns of their customers who do not want to torture animals and instead bow down to the cruelest around.

What it does instead is smash EVERYTHING including the bones, eyes and guts making it come out looking like the picture above.
Since this meat is infested with bacteria, it will be soaked in ammonia in order to kill those little critters. But who wants ammonia nuggets? Not I and I’m sure you don’t want any either. The agency said it would cost $400 to treat Scruffy, money he didn't have.
The Humane Society cited policy when it declined to accept a credit card over the phone from Dockery's mother in Michigan or to wait for her to wire the money. The staff said if he signed papers surrendering the cat, Scruffy would be treated and put in foster care, he said.
Instead, Scruffy was euthanized several hours later."
Why in the hell do people still go to that damn circus when the cruelty behind it is well documented?!

You’d think horses would be off limits in this country due to their long history and, of course, to the fact that most people do not eat them here! But, unfortunately, the ass jacks in Mexico and other parts of the world, including France, do.
We’ll have to see how this plays out, as this just came up. Lovely congress apparently is OK with killing and eating horses: “After a 5-year hiatus, Congress has restored funding for U.S. inspectors to oversee horse slaughter, opening the door for horses to be killed and butchered in the United States for the first time since 2006.”

Now, I’m not being political here. I’m simply pointing out that Obama is just as much to blame as congress as he eventually is the final signer of bills! Remember Political Science 101 and how bills become law? And, worse, he actually made a campaign promise to permanently ban horse slaughter and exports of horses for human consumption,
Sadly, as stated, “On November 18th, as the country was celebrating Thanksgiving, President Obama signed a law, allowing Americans to kill and eat horses.” It goes on, “Notwithstanding that 70% of Americans oppose horse slaughter, that President Obama made a campaign promise to permanently ban horse slaughter and exports of horses for human consumption (horses can be sent to Mexico and Canada), that documentation of animal cruelty, slaughterhouse stench, fluid runoff and negative community impact exists, it is taxpayers that will bear the costs!”
By the way, it is the Wyoming state representative Sue Wallis and her pro-slaughter group "United Horsemen," that is pushing for horse slaughter.

“Forty male beagles raised inside a lab in Spain arrived in Los Angeles last week where they will be put up for adoption after being freed from captivity by the Beagle Freedom Project.
The rescue mission is the largest yet for the group Animal Rescue Media Education (ARME). A total of 72 dogs were rescued in the effort, 32 of them having already been adopted in Europe, according to NBC Los Angeles.
ARME's Beagle Freedom Project spokesman Gary Smith said the beagles, all between ages 4 and 7, had lived in cages their entire lives.”

As I said in a previous post, Patrik Baboumian is a breath of fresh air in this movement. He once again proves that meat is not necessary for good health, and actually that a vegetarian or vegan diet is highly effective and superior when gaining size and strength. I am also a weight lifter and I’ve recently gained 50 pounds on a veg. diet.
