Arizona Humane Society Kills Cat After Man Couldn't Afford its Medical Care: They Hire a Publicist to Lie and Cover Up Tragedy

I’m wayyy busy and have no help, but I had to post this one.

All I can say is WTF or Why TF would a so called “humane” society actually resort to killing a cat due to the person why brought it in not having money? Playing god now?

I’m overly sickened by this and I encourage all of you to speak your disgust to the Arizona Humane Society at:

Of course, being the money focused group they are, they’ve actually hired a publicist to handle this issue. Ha. Hilarious. Can’t afford to save a life, but can afford to save their own jobs?!!

Here is the summary from the full article at:

"Dockery, a 49-year-old recovering heroin addict, told the Phoenix newspaper that he took Scruffy to a Humane Society center on Dec. 8 because she had a cut from a barbed-wire fence, an injury that he described as non-life-threatening. The agency said it would cost $400 to treat Scruffy, money he didn't have.

The Humane Society cited policy when it declined to accept a credit card over the phone from Dockery's mother in Michigan or to wait for her to wire the money. The staff said if he signed papers surrendering the cat, Scruffy would be treated and put in foster care, he said.

Instead, Scruffy was euthanized several hours later."

Ringling Bros. and Barnum and Bailey Circus and Owner Feld Entertainment to Pay Largest Settlement in U.S. History for Cruelty Violations

Why in the hell do people still go to that damn circus when the cruelty behind it is well documented?!

Just look at the video below and read this quote: “In recent meetings, we presented unequivocal evidence of animal abuse, including beatings, the death of a lion, lame elephants forced to perform despite chronic pain, and a baby elephant who died during a training routine.

We can only hope this stands. You can read more at

Horse Slaughter to Become Legal in the U.S. Again: Congress Restores Funding For

You’d think horses would be off limits in this country due to their long history and, of course, to the fact that most people do not eat them here! But, unfortunately, the ass jacks in Mexico and other parts of the world, including France, do.

We’ll have to see how this plays out, as this just came up. Lovely congress apparently is OK with killing and eating horses: “After a 5-year hiatus, Congress has restored funding for U.S. inspectors to oversee horse slaughter, opening the door for horses to be killed and butchered in the United States for the first time since 2006.”

You can read more here and there’s also a link to a petition to attempt to get funding for sanctuary for retired or aging horses instead of being slaughtered:

NOTE: Here is a related story that I just need to add: Obama Legalizes Horse Slaughter for Human Consumption.

Now, I’m not being political here. I’m simply pointing out that Obama is just as much to blame as congress as he eventually is the final signer of bills! Remember Political Science 101 and how bills become law? And, worse, he actually made a campaign promise to permanently ban horse slaughter and exports of horses for human consumption,

Sadly, as stated, “On November 18th, as the country was celebrating Thanksgiving, President Obama signed a law, allowing Americans to kill and eat horses.” It goes on, “Notwithstanding that 70% of Americans oppose horse slaughter, that President Obama made a campaign promise to permanently ban horse slaughter and exports of horses for human consumption (horses can be sent to Mexico and Canada), that documentation of animal cruelty, slaughterhouse stench, fluid runoff and negative community impact exists, it is taxpayers that will bear the costs!”

By the way, it is the Wyoming state representative Sue Wallis and her pro-slaughter group "United Horsemen," that is pushing for horse slaughter.
